Las capacidades que desarrolla la expresión plástica en los libros de texto

Abstract

[ES]A pesar de que las habilidades que se potencian a través de la Educación plástica y visual son muy valoradas (imaginación, creatividad, flexibilidad cognitiva, etc.) cada vez disminuye la importancia de esta asignatura en el currículum español. Por este motivo, esta investigación tiene el objetivo de reivindicar el valor que tiene esta materia y sus múltiples beneficios en el desarrollo del niño. Para conseguir este objetivo, se analizarán tres partes implicadas en la enseñanza de las artes visuales y plásticas: estudios realizados por expertos en artes que nos muestran qué capacidades se pueden llegar a desarrollar a través de esta asignatura, los blocs de plástica utilizados en las aulas para trabajar los contenidos y el currículum diseñado para el funcionamiento de esta asignatura. Finalmente, se descubrirá una desconexión entre las partes que repercutirá negativamente en el desarrollo de los alumnos.

[EN]In spite of the high value that the skills strengthened by the Visual Arts Education have (imagination, creativity, cognitive flexibility, etc.), its importance decreases little by little in the Spanish curriculum. For this reason, this research will claim the value of this matter and its many benefits to the child's development. To achieve this goal, there will be analysed three parts involved in the teaching of the Visual Arts Education: studies (done by experts in arts) which show us what abilities can be developed through this subject; drawing blocs that are used in the classrooms in order to work the knowledges; and the curriculum designed so that this subject can work properly. Finally, it will be discovered a disconnection between the parts which will affect adversely the students' development.
