Fundraising en bibliotecas: gestión, administración y recaudación de fondos

Abstract

[ES] El Fundraising podría definirse como el conjunto de actividades que se desarrollan para la captación y gestión de fondos de personas, empresas, fundaciones y Administraciones Públicas con destino a finalidades no lucrativas. El objetivo principal de este trabajo es dar a conocer el Fundraising, tanto dentro como fuera del mundo de las bibliotecas, y relacionarlo con actividades y actos que realizamos de manera cotidiana o puntual, pero que, al fin al cabo, nos son familiares. Buscamos que el término Fundraising se haga parte de nuestro vocabulario y que, tanto empresas, asociaciones como bibliotecas, sepan que actividades se pueden realizar, mediante charlas informativas (después de estudiar los datos de una encuesta realizada a la población), para la captación de fondos, y más en los tiempos que corren, que las ayudas cada vez son menos en cantidad. Para ello, este trabajo se estructura en tres partes muy diferenciadas: presentación del término Fundraising en general (el concepto, el origen y cómo se desarrolla el mismo término en diferentes puntos del globo terráqueo), el Fundraising aplicado a todas las bibliotecas en general y, por último, un caso práctico del Fundraising en la Biblioteca de Ledesma. [EN] Fundraising is the set of activities to be developed to capture and manage funds and assets of individuals businesses, foundations and Government bound for non-profit purposes. The main objective of this work is to know the Fundraising, both inside and outside the world of libraries, and relate to activities and events that we performed either daily or timely, but, finally, we are family. We seek to make the term Fundraising part of our vocabulary, and that both companies, associations and libraries, know that you can perform activities for the fundraising, and more in this times, that subsidies are increasingly less in quantity. For this reason, this work is structured in three very distinct parts: presentation of the term Fundraising in general (the concept, origin and how develops the same term in different parts of the globe), the Fundraising applied to all libraries in general and, finally, a case study of the Fundraising in the library of Ledesma.
