[EN] Present research has the aim of the historic-legal analysis of the female vote achievement on the urns (Suffrage), along the different Constitutions that had been sanctioned since 1808 until 1978.
This is not an exhaustive study of each Constitution. However, we will focus in the years after 1876, with a first amendment in the Camera to the effective electoral legislation and in some other subsequent: 1907, 1908, 1919 and even, in 1927 (Primo de Rivera dictatorship), where it will be developed several proposals in favor of women´s right of vote, although this aim won´t be achieved until the II Republic advent. As a result, preceded by a heated and interesting debate in the Courts, 9th of December of 1931 Constitution was enacted and the wondered desire of all women vote with it, sanctioning the Gender equality principle. However, the military coup of the 18th of July of 1936 resulted in the demolition of all the republican work that so many hopes had attracted in terms of culture, progress or moral.
It won´t be until 1978 when this so simple and fundamental of voting
