Auditoría informática

Abstract

[ES]Este capítulo introduce el concepto de auditoría informática y protección de la información. Se presentarán conceptos relativos a la auditoría y las características de la misma que reflejan aspectos relativos a la protección de la información y la salvaguarda de las organizaciones en la gestión de la misma. No tendría sentido comenzar a hablar de auditoría informática sin antes haber concretado un concepto de auditoría que disipe la posible ambigüedad respecto del concepto que cada cual puede tener de la misma. Se contrastará el concepto de auditoría con el de consultoría y se profundizará en las metodologías existentes

[EN]This chapter introduces the concept of computer auditing and information protection. It will present concepts related to the audit and the characteristics of it that reflect aspects related to the pro-tection of information and the safeguarding of organizations in the management of it. It would be point-less to start talking about computer auditing without first specifying an audit concept that dissipates any ambiguity with respect to the concept that everyone may have of it. The concept of audit will be contrasted with that of consultancy and the existing methodologies will be explored in greater depth.
