El perfil formativo y profesional del gestor de datos

Abstract

[ES] La revolución tecnológica y las transformaciones económicas y sociales que este fenómeno ha traído consigo, ha hecho posible el análisis y tratamiento de grandes volúmenes de datos conocidos como big data, extrayendo el valor latente que estos poseen y ofreciendo, por primera vez, soluciones personalizadas basadas en información objetiva a tiempo real. El presente trabajo ofrece una panorámica sobre el mundo de los datos desde la perspectiva de la Biblioteconomía y la Documentación y pretende dar a conocer el grado de correspondencia de los planes académicos con las demandas laborales actuales. De esta manera, se pretende justificar el papel del profesional de la Información y la Documentación en este ámbito del Big Data, en el que la falta de normalización supone una oportunidad para delimitar este perfil profesional a la vez que permite renovar la imagen de dicha profesión adecuándola a la nueva realidad.

[EN] This paper deals with how the technological revolution and its economic and social consequences have given rise to create an enormous amount of data known as big data. For this purpose, an overview is given prior to the study, about the data universe and the context in which the massive data take place. Through the data analysis we are able to extract information that will allow us to detect the organization and users’ needs and give you a customized solution and deliver value-added services. In this way, the purpose is to know the degree of agreement of the academic plans with the current work demands and the relevance given to data in academic world. It is important to claim the role of the Information and Documentation professional in data management because they are the ones who are able to execute this work effectively.
