Las actitudes lingüísticas de hablantes de español septentrional hacia la variedad meridional según los estereotipos ligados a la figura de “el andaluz”

Abstract

[ESP] Los estereotipos están en la base de las actitudes discriminatorias y, cuando estos se asocian a grupos sociales, es común que se refieran también a su lengua. En el caso del andaluz, los estereotipos de "informal", “gracioso” o ”poco profesional”, entre otros, han tenido como consecuencia la exclusión de este dialecto de todos los ámbitos formales del país. El andaluz está presente en los medios de comunicación solo cuando se trata de programas de entretenimiento. En este trabajo hemos analizado la influencia que tienen estos estereotipos sobre la consideración del andaluz por parte de hablantes de español septentrional y si estos piensan que el español meridional debería aparecer con más frecuencia en los medios de comunicación.

[ENG] Stereotypes are at the base of discriminatory attitudes and, when these are associated with social groups, it is common that they also refer to their language. In the case of Andalusian, the stereotypes of "informal", "funny" or unprofessional", among others, have resulted in the exclusion of this dialect from all formal areas of the country. Andalusian is present in the media only when it comes to entertainment programs. In this work we have analyzed the influence that these stereotypes have on the consideration of Andalusian by speakers of northern Spanish and they think that southern Spanish should or should not appear more frequently in the media Communication.
