Una traducción posmoderna de la realidad: arte y poesía

Abstract

[EN] Postmodernism, the movement that follows modernism, breaks with all the established philosophical, artistic and literary patterns through a dynamic opening process. By means of a comparative analysis of both movements three main differences are found, which are, at the same time, the foundations of postmodernism. These are the banishment of authorship and uniqueness, a redefinition of the concept of history, and a decentralization of the end or result in favor of the process. In addition, the analysis brings us to the conclusion that the first of the pillars is also the basis for contemporary translation definitions, which were first developed by Borges and continued with Bassnett, Gentzler and Johnston.

[SP] El posmodernismo, movimiento que da continuidad al modernismo, a través de un proceso de apertura dinámica rompe con todos los patrones filosóficos, artísticos y literarios establecidos hasta entonces. Tras realizar un análisis comparativo entre ambos movimientos, se encuentran tres diferencias principales, que son a su vez los pilares sobre los que se asienta el posmodernismo: la desaparición del concepto de autoría y originalidad, una redefinición de concepto de historia, y la descentralización del fin o resultado a favor del proceso. Además, el análisis lleva a establecer que el primer pilar es, a su vez, la base de las definiciones de traducción contemporáneas que comenzaron con Borges y continuaron con Bassnett, Gentzler y Johnston
