| es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | [EN]In this Master’s Thesis we have carried out a literature review of the current state of the art in the construction of exact solutions of the Einstein equations in vacuum, focusing on those belonging to the family of axialsymmetric static Weyl solutions. The main objective has been to establish an identification between the Newtonian gravitational potential ϕ and the metric function ψ characteristic of these relativistic solutions, thus approaching the problem from an inverse perspective to the traditional one: instead of starting from known exact solutions to construct simplified models (toy-models), these models are used to investigate which relativistic solutions they generate and what their physical and geometrical properties are. In this framework, three specific toy-models have been proposed and analysed, obtaining for each one the metric functions ψ and γ that satisfy the vacuum field equations. The resulting solutions have been characterised by means of their relativistic multipole moments (MMR), which has allowed us to interpret their geometry and to determine the degree of deviation from the spherical symmetry of the source. Likewise, the existence and shape of the event horizons in each case have been studied, observing that, under certain conditions, regular surfaces are obtained, although not well defined according to Israel’s theorem. Finally, a methodology has been proposed to deal with the sum of the series associated with Weyl family solutions from a given set of {an} coefficients, relating this question to the classical problem of Hausdorff moments. This approach makes it possible to establish a criterion for the existence of a density function that reproduces this succession, thus opening a way to identify models that allow us to obtain summable relativistic solutions. This last line is proposed as a future development, since it has not been possible to address it in depth due to time constraints. | |
