dc.description.abstract[EN] This article aims to show the institutional repository of AEMET, named Arcimís (Climatological and Meteorological Institutional Archive). This project has developed due to the need of collecting, disseminating and preserving all the institutional documentation of the Agency in compliance with the current regulations about the obligation to publish works and studies financed with public funds in open access. The repository is organized in four communities: Scientific production, Teaching production, Institutional archive and Digital library. It’s possible to find in Arcimís different types of documents in different languages like, for example, scientific articles, technical reports, conferences, statements, bulletins, photographs, videos, weather charts, etc. It currently has over 6,500 documents distributed in more than 300 collections. Among the essential collections of the Institution that are included in the repository are The Daily Meteorological Bulletin (1893-2007) and The Meteorological Calendar, an annual publication that is published since 1943. It’s also important to highlight the articles of scientific publications with the intellectual production of the AEMET’s research staff. In addition the different bulletins with climatological information or the National Water Balance can be mentioned. And finally, reference should be made to the collections of photographic library and video library, as well as the documentary collection of Augusto Arcimís, the eminent meteorologist who names AEMET’s repository.es_ES
